When there was an offer of a 24hr layover in Fiji, who could say no?

What a place for a stopover. It was needed after a 10hr flight in small seats with no extra baby space (I though Fijians were supposed to be big people, so why small seats Fiji air?) The first thing that strikes you about Fiji – the friendliness! Everyone is incredibly nice, friendly and chatty. At our hotel, all of the staff were chatting to Eddie by name within 5 mins of us arriving. Our beach hotel, 10 mins from Nadi Airport, had a pool, bar, beach, palm trees, hammocks and a room with a balcony and sea view. We kept it simple; a short beach walk, hammock swing, swimming, and Cat took a nap whilst Adam took diligent care of Eddie. Followed by dinner by the sea. Job done.
