Queenstown

We camped by lake wakatipu (with waves like the sea!), and in the morning headed into Queenstown for an adventure tourism packed day! We kicked off with taking turns to do jet boat rides, while the other played with Eddie (more swings, yay!) And ate pie. The jet boat rides were awesome, 360 degree spins and whizzing around obstacles as we headed towards the cliffs of the shotover river. The lake was super choppy with strong winds, which made even this part exciting as the boat lept in the air, or was washed over by a massive wave.

Next we got the gondola part way up Ben Lomond, and home of the Queenstown luge. It got wet enough to make it extra exciting, and again we took turns to bomb down luge tracks that had turned into small rivers while the other watched people mess up the last corner from the bar, whilst Eddie slept and warmed us up after our soaking rides.
