Next stop- family chaos in Luxembourg! We started the day driving and managed to get enough driving in early in the day to stop at another excellent German water park (to Eddie’s great excitement) for a good swim and many many goes on the slides! We rocked up in Luxembourg in time to see the second cousins as they got home from school & creche and so the chaos began!
Eddie had an amazing time with the girls who at 2 and 4 are amazing playmates and much running around, bouncing on trampolines and giggling ensued.
The next day we popped back across the border following a recommendation to go to a treetop walk which turned out to be great fun! The elevated boardwalk in the canopy would have been fun in itself made next level by the optional extra slide and wobbly bridge along the way! It ended in a big tower with views over the forest and river before we tactfully skirted a very exciting looking but expensive playpark to the free slides by the bar for one last weissbier before heading back to the house picking up some very nice Luxembourg wine en route just in time for an excellent BBQ and more trampoline chaos!
